Catching up on Simple Girl Scraps stuff!

As usual I'm behind on blogging, and as usual Simple Girls Scraps is on fire, so I've got lots to show!
First, she released Magic, an AWESOME Harry Potter themed kit. I love me some HP!!

I first used it to scrap my souvenir from the HP theme park:

Then she released some cool templates: My Life: Templates. They're perfect for projects like P365 or 52:

I chose to use them with Magic too and embrace my geeky self in a two-page layout :D

I also used the School Rules Papers:

Then, she released My Tunes, another awesome one, this one with a music theme:

 exclusively at SCRAPPING FAIRYTALES

I used this one to record my son's favourite songs last year. He was 3 and you'll notice a bunch of kid's French songs, and We Will Rock You... lol

Ok, I think I'm caught up to date!!

Some LOs for fun

Lately, I've done a lot of CT layouts, but not too many just for fun! But I've found time to do a few and I wanted to show them to whoever still reads this blog (echo, echo, echo... lol).

I've used products by two of my absolute favourite designers. First, two with kits by Captivated Visions. The first one was for a challenge on her blog, to get inspired by her pins on Pinterest. I chose a really cool quote, used her kit This Is Me, and came up with this:

Then, I did one for a ScrapOrchard challenge with a template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee and Captivated Vision's A Way of Life to scrap my brand new purse shell:

The other designer I just LOVE is Studio Dawn Inskip, and I used her awesome kit Couch Potato to scrap photos of hubby and me having a late night picnic on the couch, in front of TV:

Off for a beautiful Easter walk, the weather is too nice not to go outside :D

Easter themed scrapping

As promised, here are a couple of Easter themed LOs!

Artgal Style released Doodly Doo, a fun kit with happy colours, which I used to scrap last year's Easter cake:

And a few weeks ago, Simple Girl Scraps released the Everyday Spring Collection, which has some bunnies and eggs as well as some cute religious elements. I used it to scrap some photos of our Easter last year:

With that, I'll wish you a happy Easter!

knew I forgot something...

Simple Girl Scraps has three stores and so much going on, that I forgot to tell you about the best part: a sale!!
At her ScrapDelicious store, she's making room for new stuff and retiring some kits, and they are therefore on sale before they are gone!!

I'm pretty sure they are 50% off (trick, if you sort by price, you'll see them all first in the list).
Here are a few of the kits on sale with my LO for inspiration ;)

Happy shopping!!

New releases on a beautiful Good Friday

Well, it's been a while since I blogged. We've had a busy early spring with lots of dietary restrictions for my son, which has forced me to spend a bit of time in the kitchen and finally a diagnosis of autism for him, which should open doors to services, but for now has meant phone calls, etc.

On to scrappy things on this gorgeous Good Friday (at least it's really sunny here, I hope it is where you are too ;) ).
Simple Girl Scraps has a few things going on, as always (the girl is a scrapping tornado, lol). She is the featured designer this month at Scrapping Fairytales and you can read a fun interview here on their blog to get to know her better. To celebrate this, her store is on sale, 20% off everything!! AND she has released an awesome exclusive kit, called Spring Has Sprung:

And a great add-on: a set of Big Mats to match the kit:

I did a layout with the kit alone of my son reading his favourite book on the deck in mid-March, on a crazy warm day, and one with the awesome mats, of hubby and me having an awesome day visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter:

Last week, she had also released an awesome set of very versatile ledger papers, the School Rules Papers, which you can use with any kit and easily recolour:

SCRAP DELICIOUS - SCRAPPING FAIRYTALES - WITH LOVE STUDIO
I used one, recoloured, with her awesome kit Simply Fabulous:, to scrap my fab new PJs, which were bought in the Paris area!! The colours and theme fit just perfectly, don't you think?

Well, I'm not done, but I think that's enough for today, lol.
I'll be back over the week-end for an Easter themed post!!
